my keynote talk at San Diego Superdata summit, a survey of where analytics/data mining has been, the current state of the industry, cloud analytics vs ground analytics job skills, and assessment of some big data trends.
I recently attended and gave a keynote talk at
San Diego SuperData Summit (www.superdatasummit.com), a celebration of analytics and data mining aimed at promoting San Diego as a major analytics hub.
My talk was a survey of where analytics/data mining has been, the current state of the industry, looking at ground analytics and cloud analytics job skills, and assessment of some big data trends.
I received a lot of positive feedback on my presentation, and here it is.
